Epidemiology, mortality, and health service use of local-level multimorbidity patterns in South Spain

El equipo de investigación del laboratorio CS2 DataLab ha alcanzado un importante logro con la reciente publicación de su artículo titulado “Epidemiology, mortality, and health service use of local-level multimorbidity patterns in South Spain” en la prestigiosa revista Nature Communication.

Esta publicación se enmarca dentro del proyecto DEMMOCAD, una iniciativa que busca profundizar en el conocimiento sobre la epidemiología de la multimorbilidad, sus determinantes e impacto sobre el sistema de salud y la calidad de vida de los pacientes de la provincia de Cádiz, y que está financiada en un 80% por el programa operativo del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER) de Andalucía 2014-2020.

El Instituto Universitario de Investigación para el Desarrollo Social Sostenible-INDESS y la Universidad de Cádiz merecen un reconocimiento especial como entidades cofinanciadoras de esta destacada publicación. Su compromiso con la investigación y el avance del conocimiento ha sido fundamental para el éxito del proyecto.
