CALL FOR PAPERS

Professionalism, contract and negotiation within the framework of social innovation
Bergamo (Italy), November 30 – December 1 2018
The following information has arrived at the communication team of our research institute:

There is a new field of scientific reflection that is particularly suggestive due to the recent evolution of the ways of working and producing derived from the impact of technology, but also from globalization and demographic dynamics. The traditional categories of framing (not only legal) of work and of its forms of remuneration and organization are put to the test: the idea of work and business changes.
This year’s international congress aims to analyze the transformations of work from the particular perspective of professionalism, understood not only as the set of tasks, level and type of framework or as a characteristic element of a specific group of professions, but as an extension of personal identity in terms of reputation, recognition and self-fulfillment.

The congress aims to promote an interdisciplinary and comparative debate, through the deepening of diverse areas (cultural, legal, organizational, economic, social, institutional, etc.) to which the new, broader dimension of professionalism affects, thanks to the contributions of participants from all over the world.

Participation is free. Following information will be available on the page dedicated to the event.

Those interested in the above topics can read the request for papers and send their abstracts to the following email address: sid@unibg.it

The best works, among those presented at the congress, will be evaluated for publication in the journals Formazione Lavoro Persona, Professionalità Studi, Diritto delle Relazioni Industriali y Revista Internacional y Comparada de Relaciones Laborales y Derecho del Empleo. The editors will also consider the work of people who can not participate in the congress but want to contribute to the publication.
